The Vivitar Series 1 90-180/f4.5 Flat Field Zoom has this same
over-sized flange. It would hit the powerzoom contacts of a PZ1p.

However, it is a minor affair of twenty minutes or so to gently
cut/file it to match the flange on a genuine Pentax K-mount lens. No
disassembly required, just a flat file and some covering and care to
keep the filings from going everywhere.
