Also. I don't think it really replaces anything. The *Ist is the first in a new generation of cameras. The current Pentax SLR line-up aren't the cameras the *Ist is designed to coexist with (something thats pretty obvious as the *Ist has better metering and AF system than any other Pentax SLR). > Now entry level may be different things. It is aggresively priced and hence might have some "entry level" limitations. These limitation may have no bearing on advanced Pentax users as this cameras isn't intended for them. Perhaps in Pentax's world, entry level now means point and shoot. An entry level SLR would then need to be better specified than their top end P&S cameras.
