I agree. Nikon people were falling all over themselves a couple of years ago to drool over a camera (F100) that looked like a PZ-1(p). OK, OK, bad example -- being Nikon people, none of them had ever heard of a PZ-1(p). What does a Pentax look like? Personally, I find the pictures of the *istD remind me of the ZX-L. The MZ-6/ZX-L gets a lot of good press and commentary, here and elsewhere. People are buying it, apparently. If it's selling well, looking the way it does, what's the problem with the *ist D?
