Just the contrary. It is calibrated for negative film, hence it
overexposes. Overexposing 1 EV slide film burns the highlights. The
effect is negligible when using colour print film, but I have found the
same problem in my MZ-5, and it is annoying, as I use mainly slide
films. Nowadays my wife uses the MZ-5, and as she only shoots negative
colour film, it doesn't cause any visible effects.
