As a note to that, I've had an 1800 - replaced it under warranty once, that one made it til 13 months from original purchase and failed as well. Really poor Dynamic range - way less than 3.0, 2.2 iirc. Mainly the durability is what p***ed me off... My $0.02 ... Mike Y -- myehle at wanadoo dot fr
