Mark, Shel, Tom C - Thanks for the replies. One of the drawing cards for the Pacific Imaging was batch scanning - I wanted to be able to start the scan on a roll of uncut negs and come back later to find them done. The Pacific Imaging 3650 was the only scanner I could find within my budget that had that feature. I'll have to re-think if that is really something I have to have. If not, it seems the Dual Scan IV might be the way to go.
Have you found that you'd like to be able to scan full un-cut rolls or is working with strips of six negs sufficient?
