I know the F 70-210 is the only non-star (*) F lens to use an ED element, a fact Pentax (as usual) didn't mention in any advertising or product info about the lens. This gives it some performance advantages, from what I've read -- is it significantly better than the A 70-210? A few people seem to like it better than the later FA 70-200 lens.
The 24-50 has the same optical formula as the 24-50 A lens, which I believe was an improvement over the 24-50 M lens that didn't get great performance reviews.

Try looking here for information on the F 70-210. Seems not many people have used the 24-50mm though.

Currently I'm using the Tamron kit zooms I got when I bought my ZX-30, but the F 24-50mm f4.0 and the F 70-210mm f4.0-5.6 have caught my attention. Here is where you come in, what are the general opinion about these lenses (I know the 70-210mm is pretty good) and what are the going rate for these lense?
Any help is greatly appreciated Paul
By the way, I did the usual searches but not a lot came up.
