Don't if you think you will save some service bills. Quite possible your possible future LXs would cost more than the MXs to maintain. Also, you can buy a bunch of trashed MXs for parts, but can't do the same for LXs.
Or do I move on to an AF body? And if I go AF, which MZ?
Not if you really love the viewfinder of the MX. None of the Pentax AF bodies has the quality viewfinder of the MX.

Not if you plan to use manual focus. The viewfinder sucks.
[ ] An MZ-S?
The quality of viewfinder is good, but magnification is quite low compared to MX.
[ ] Move to digital (either now, C*n*n with RAW output, or wait for the mythical Pentax D)?
If you want DSLR, waste no time. Buy yourself a 10D now.
