Entry level cameras from 40 years ago sure were different than they are now
weren't they? Anybody out there think an *ist will be usable in 2043?

upcoming digital sibling, I chime in with this...

> Largely for fun, I just picked up a Honeywell Pentax H1a with a 55mm f2
Takumar from ebay. This will be my first screw mount. While I'm waiting for
it to arrive, I wanted to know if any of you have used this ancient,
beautiful-looking hunk of metal and glass, and what you like/don't like
about it. (I already know it doesn't have a built-in light meter, but I
have a hand-held one, so that's not an issue.) I look forward to hearing
from H1a owners!
