Call Pentax and ask for the rectangular shape form (surround the film 
window) for the camera backs like P50 or Z-1p. They are 3mm thick and you 
can cut them into suitable length. I did the same for my MX. They have 
self-adhesive too.

Any recommendations on what kind of foam (and where to get it from) would 
be suitable for replacing the one in the mirror box (the one the mirror 
rests upon when in upper position)?
