I assume you mean ppi (pixels per inch) output resolution? Since the *ist-D maximum resolution is 2000 x 3000 pixels, output res for an 18 inch wide print would be 166.6 ppi but I used Genuine Fractals to double the linear dimensions so I was able to print at 333 ppi. It has been my observation that Genuine Fractals works much better with images resulting from digital cameras rather than from scanned film - the film grain seems to be the reason for this. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
