The statement was : 'Noting that IBM is building the G5 Macs,...' and this is factually incorrect. IBM is not 'building Macs'. IBM is making CPUs (G5), just as Motorola made earlier processors. In fact Apple, and indeed any computer manufacturer hardly 'make' a thing for their products in-house. Think of the inside of a computer and most parts are pretty much universal (even between Macs and PCs, gasp!) except for machine-specific electronics like logic boards and so on. Original conception, design and assembly of components is what Apple (and others like Dell) do - although even then this can get farmed out to 3rd parties. So really, the following could well be true: 'Noting that a pretty young woman called Siobhan in Ireland is building G5 Macs,...' In a nit-picking mood :-) Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| www.macads.co.uk/snaps _____________________________ Free UK Mac Ads www.macads.co.uk
