I personally love the M series lenses. I find them to be the perfect companion to the ZX-5n. They're small, sharp enough and IMHO produce great color rendition. But maybe I just like the sound of their name, say it with me M series. Is it any wonder that a German car manufacturer designated their high performance sedans the M series? Or that German camera model that so many of us crave, is it not also an M? Perhaps the letter itself carries some special indicator of quality. Has it not often been theorized that Sherlock Holmes' older, smarter brother Mycroft was the first M of 007 fame? Clearly, M is the mark of a special beast and clearly that tradition is carried on by the Pentax M series.
Evan (proving that he likes his M series lenses a bit too much and has way too much time on his hands.)
