Seems that we are more fortunate WRT warranty in Oz, from a Q&A page at the web site of the local Pentax distributors: "Q. I bought my camera outside Australia and repair is needed within 12 months of purchase. A. You must provide a properly completed International Warranty Certificate and purchase receipt, which can only be provided by the retailer or distributor in the country of purchase. C.R Kennedy & Company cannot provide free service without sighting these documents." http://www.crkennedy.com.au/content/Service/ph/ph.html Cheers, Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.ozemail.com.au/~distudio/publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998
