IIRC, Pentax Canada puts an international warranty on their equipment, and will reimburse for repairs done outside of Canada. Thats how it was when I sold the stuff, admitedly closer to a decade ago than I care to think about. Things may have changed. PCI is wholly owned by the mother corp.
