Interesting. I was waiting for the D60 instead of the D30, but the improvements were vast. For instance the resolution went from 3MP to 6MP and a host of other big improvements. It may look the same but it really is a very different camera. The D60 has much more in common with the 10D. I think that the *ist D rev2 will be more about fine-tuning than heaps of improvement. Does anyone think that they will change the sensor in favour of (say) an 8MP sonsor? What are are Nikon planning (in terms of sensors) ? Which begs the question: what improvements are wanted / needed on the *ist D rev2 ?
