Shel, it's sounding better. Most of my preferred lenses are K and M.
Hell, but I do so love my KX cameras. Mebbe this can wait. None the
less, I do wonder if the changes were made, in part, because of this
absolutely nutty list. If so, thank you Pentax! I'm much more confident
of "future directions" now, as until recently, Pentax had very good
backwards compatibility.

When I decided to throw money at 35mm, even though my wife was using
Pentax, I studied it a bit. Enough to be dangerous. I learned three
things I still believe today. a) Pentax has good compatibility.
b) Pentax lenses are in the running with any Japanese comparison (and
a heck of a lot cheaper than German lenses). c) SMC.

Embracing these beliefs, I did not buy C-O-M-N.

I am now too far in bed with Pentax 35mm to ever seriously consider
another system. And too used to the system. I know which way to twist
what, and I understand the KX, MX, KM by feel.

So, how many of the list are now considering the istD now that it will
work better with the K and M lenses? I'm now giving it some thought.
