I'm considering it as well. Most of my Pentax 35mm lenses are K
versions. I could use the *istD for some of the work I do as well as
for personal photography. I might be able to use it for a lot of the
work I do with "res up" software. On my day job I use photos taken by
other people. Clint Clemens shot some cars for one of my projects with
a 10 megapixel Canon and increased the resolution to yield 125 megabyte
files that looked great. That means I cold get nice 40 meg files with
an *istD and the right software. Clint wouldn't say what software he
uses but I would guess it's genuine fractals. Anyway, to make a long
story short I might buy now.
