My last bout with flash, I set the ISO to 400 (someone here mentioned that this was the sweet spot for TTL on the camera) and set the image profile controls to the middle range. I don't use a digital flash, I am using an older Metz 60 series analog TTL unit. The results from this combination are just fine. I don't have my AF280T around to try, but I expect this unit would be good as well. I don't think Pentax has integrated digital flash control as well as they could have from the sounds of all the problems people are having with their digital flash units, but the analog stuff still seems to work fine. I find this compatability to be very satisfying, since as a rule, I hate portable flash, but do see it as a necessary evil from time to time. I would have resented having to buy another flash for the istD. William Robb
