At least for the significant future. Whether of not DA Telephotos are produced depends
on the longevity of the APS sized sensor and development of cost effective full frame
35mm sensors.

I don't think *anyone* has released a digital-specific (DA series or
equivalent) tele-zoom. There are plenty of standard zooms that cover
that range. I expect to see just wide and ultr-wide lenses in
digital-specific coverage.
