Fair enough. But it's a bit unreasonable to expect them to manufacture
lenses to meet the "requirements" set by a couple of individual users.
The point is that they have a selection of lenses that cover a wide
range pretty thoroughly. Would it be nice if they covered a particular
range with three lenses instead of two? Well yes. It would be *nice* if
they covered it with one lens! But they don't... and complaining about
that is kind of like complaining about the weather.

I'd prefer to see Pentax put their limited R&D money into a DSLR with a
larger sensor. I don't expect to see full-frame for a while, but a 1.3x
crop like the 1D would be a step in the right direction.
