I have the 35-135, its a bit too soft for me. I seldom use it on the *istD, because it also shows alot of CA on that camera. It is very versatile as a "walking around" lens however.

I have no opinion on that. But I have to point out that there is a gap
in their lineup which could help them raise money for that larger
sensor R&D :-)))



I would also add that research for this lens may be minimal: there are already 2 old lenses near the required FLs (K45-125/4 and F35-135/3.5-4.5). According to Stan's site (the other indispensable resource and also on par with the two I mentioned yesterday) they were both good, though we have limited samples.
