whatever photographers believe, financial analysts are interested in companies like that as investments to make money. they see Pentax as being viable only as a DSLR and digital medium format vendor. they feel that it will be irrelevant in the digital P&S market and the film market as being irrelevant in general not too long from now for Japanese investors.
