The piccies you posted scared me enough to download the CS and have a go. After some initial playing around, it seems that the dark-fringe-at-high-contrast-edges from the Pentax software can be duplicated in PhShp CS by boosting the sharpening during the RAW-import. Dunno if my conclusion from this is right, but to me it seems that it is the sharpening algorithm rather than the Bayer interpolation itself that is the culprit in the Pentax software. Jostein
