Root beer! I'd forgotten that ghastly stuff, aaaargghhh. How could anyone say Vegemite is horrible but enjoy root beer? Sarsaparilla causes a gag reflex for me, as well.
If you think that's bad, we have a soft drink called Moxie. The best way to describe it's taste is it tastes like a bad patent medicine. How it has managed to survive all these years is anyone's guess. Then there is Dr Pepper, which I believe is carbonated prune juice with caffeine added. That, I have actually come to enjoy.
