To my thinking, what makes the Minoltas an attractice choice is the ready availability of first-rate third-party lenses in bayonet mount, for a song--typically about half the K-mount versions, when you can find them. Almost anytime I want, I can find in Minolta mount a Soligor CD 135/2 and CD 100/2; Vivitar Series 1 28/1.9, 135/2.3, 200/3, and 105/2.5 1:1 macro, not to mention Kirons, at what we would consider giveaway prices ($70 to $150 each). More than once, I was tempted to acquire an X-370 or X-700 just to get such lenses quickly and cheaply. ------------------------------ Collin Brendemuehl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: X-370 & X-700 -- Minolta makes a good series here - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
