I agree with Shel in that a charming moment is caught.  I also like the 
composition.  Great shot!

I would probably erase the guy with the khakhi shorts, white socks, and 
white shirt holding a water bottle with his arms crossed.  Is that too much 
detail?  ;)  In his place I would plant grass.  How about if he was burned 
in just a tad?  Sure it's digital manipulation, but what digital image 
isn't?  :D

I'm afraid I can't comment in digicams and their DOF.
