Your ME Super is probably faulty. It should fire any flash with a hot-shoe connection. Does the falsh shoe work with other flashes? The Manual for the AF160 as well as ME Super can be found here: http://www.pentax.com/docstore/index.cfm?show=6 All the best

I tried to but the flash doesn't fire. I do not have manuals for either. The flash test fires. I used a small length of wire to manually connect the centre of the flash hotshoe with the side pin of the hotshoe. The flash fired. I guess this is what the camera does when the shutter is clicked. I put a multimeter probe on side and centre pin of ME Super hotshoe and clicked. No connectivity. Is my ME Super broken? What is the second off-centre pin in the ME super hotshoe for? Should I try to get a cable and try to connect that? I tried the 125 setting on the dial of the ME super but that didn't help either. Is there some other setting that I have to do? Thanks for any pointers.
