Not that I have any science to back me up, but my own feeling is that the SuperProgram is worse than the PZ-1. (PZ-1p could be different; I have never used one.) But I used the SuperProgram for a while, shooting for the college paper, and then replaced it with a PZ-1 and my number of slightly-blurry-due-to- shake images went down. Perhaps the difference in grip style ... ? but I'd like to think it's Just A Better Camera. ERN
