A 50mm lens won't "become" anything else, no matter what do you do. That's
the truth, and I won't accept anything less.
And why should I? For the herd who can't bother to understand what's a focal
length? Of course there is no one on this list to tell us, but I've meet
enough of them... and guess what? they already don't use focal lenghts,
actual or "equivalent to 35mm" (2 numbers is too much for them, I guess...).
They talk about "zooms", you know, like "how much zoom have this lens" (no,
sir, my 50mm don't have any "zooms" on it...), because - of course -
everybody knows "normal zoom" will "get" you closer to the subject, and
you'll need some kind of "negative zoom" in order to get farther.
I don't care about such people... do you?
And if Pentax choosed to write some fictional, "equivalent" numbers instead
of the true focal lenght on their DA lenses, I wonder how could they explain
what's the differente between the DA "24-70" ("equivalent blah blah") and a
