RE: More 15/3.5 samples - seeking opinions

There was some dirty mark on one of the inner element but I cleaned it. All 
glasses are clean now even when lited by a torch light so it is unlikely the 
cause. So my pics are definitely less sharp than normal?

Have you held the lens up to a very bright light and looked
thru it ( just the lens, not mounted on camera)??
Maybe there is hazing or seperation or extreme dust or
something affecting the sharpness and contrast?
I have the SM version and it is very sharp and constrasty
especailly the center sharpness.
