It was a tongue in cheek comment.  I should have added one of those abbreviations like 
LOL or something.  I'm not recommending civil disobedience. LOL, :>),etc.

recommend you get a Pentax UV "lens" (filter) to screw on to
your 3rd party lenses and then you'll be legal--right?

We went through this last year. The consensus was that since it
was the "PENTAX Users Gallery", the least we could ask of
submitters is to use a major piece of Pentax equipment (ie: a
camera or a lens) to make the images. So far, I haven't rejected
any images for being shot on other brands, but I leave the
possibility open that I will in the future.
