Some months ago I compared the K 18/3.5 to the DA 16-45mm (same subject, same conditions, etc.) and there's no match, at least when shooting buildings at a few meters distance: 3m to 15m or so (conditions of my comparison). At 16-18-20mm, any tested aperture of the DA wins easy over any tested aperture of the 18mm (I tested four apertures: full, 5.6, 8, 11). Bye, Dario Bonazza
