About a decade ago, I had the pleasure of looking after premises which acted like a magnet to the homeless. Most of my colleagues dealt with them via the Police, but after a short while I found there was a whole other side to their dilemma. The really scary part is that the dividing line between 'normality' and the situation that many homeless folk find themselves in is so thin, just a minor bit of bad luck, illness or a myriad of reasons can transfer you to their side. I have the feeling that most of the problem is that people recognise subconsciously how little in would take to join them and that fear is manifested by disgust and disassociation. Photographs bring these thoughts into your home, rather than leaving them on the streets... That's me through on this. Malcolm
