Then do the same thing in PS.
Convert to color.
Add Magenta & Yellow for grade 2.
Convert back to gray scale.
Convert to color
Select outer portions
Add Magenta & a little yellow for a grade 4 & darken.
Convert back to gray scale.
Almost the same as a chemical darkroom.
I do it with Picture Publisher.  Works well.
