Thanks, Mark. "Noise" grain would have an edge
softening effect and I'm glad you feel it's
insignificant. 
I have, possibly, an unhealthy addiction to high res
images. I fret over critical focus, solid rest, fine
grain film,(miss 25 ISO) the better optics, optimum
focus..all those factors most of us consider when
attempting to produce a 'sharp' image.
I'll work on it and get help if needed.
