So when there was a bit of a Renaissance, Konica, for example, used essentially an M mount for their Hexar. (I think there were some tiny differences due to licencing squabbles, but for all intents and purposes, the lenses are interchangeable). Of course, the bayonet CV Bessa is M mount, too.
