Indeed, you should be able to transfer the edited images from the computer to the card using the card reader, and in fact I sometimes do that when I want to carry a specific group of pictures to Wal*Mart for printing but I don't want that group of pictures permanently together on a CD. Also, for someone who doesn't necessarily carry a purse, the cards are more convenient to take on the trip to the store. (They're pocketable; CDs are less so.) I would transfer the files with the card reader rather than the camera though. ER
