I was in Prague at few occasions and I did not feel any concern for my safety, probably because I was drunk most of the time. But I would not feel safe with $2000 camera on my neck, expensive watch, full wallet of money and credit cards. If you don't have anything of value on you or you look like you don't have it, you are very safe.
