Jostein. I just checked ACDSee - it allows for configuring/adding annother (external) image editor. It's amzing ThumbsPlus doesn't - it's not exactly a cheap application, is it? Cheers Jens Bladt mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hjem.get2net.dk/bladt
-----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Jostein [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sendt: 2. november 2004 21:04 Til: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Emne: Re: Image Organizer The plugin doesn't work for Photoshop, only in ThumbsPlus. The raw converter for Photoshop is a different story all together. The ThumbsPlus converter works quite nicely for viewing purposes, but not much more, imo. The reason I use both ThumbsPlus and C1 is that they are quite complimentary. ThumbsPlus is my archiving and indexing software, where I assign keywords and annotations, sort thumbnails in albums after themes, etc. C1 is *the* raw converter, imo. I haven't tried the latest incarnation of Bibble, though, which also has a tradition for being a good tool. The only feature I miss in C1, btw, is the ability to associate file types with the program. It would have been *so* neat to be able to open PEFs in C1 from ThumbsPlus. Apparently, this is a feature they are not looking into at PhaseOne. In their user forum there are posts from people who wants this all back to 2001. :-( Interestingly, since I bought C1 and ThumbsPlus, I use Photoshop a lot less. Not sure if I could have done without, but it's certainly not my most important imaging software anymore.
