One problem with all the PEF-enabled browsers, AFAIK, is that they will not write additional EXIF info into the files. ThumbsPlus can do it for other file types, and so can BreezeBrowser, I think.
The reason I picked ThumbsPlus over BreezeBrowser was the support for offline archives. However, I was impressed with the speed of BreezeBrowser. It generates thumbnails really fast.
