PJA> viewing distance the mural looked tack sharp. Viewing distance was PJA> everything in that case and excessive enlargement was PJA> truly in the eye of the beholder.
I think that a really big print far away seems much bigger in
comparison than a small print really beneath your nose. Simply by size
comparison with other objects in the surroundings of the print, which
the eye knows how big they are. Even if the seen area (angular field?)
of both prints might be the same.
