All the batteries I've ever used in my *istD were bought at Wal*Mart. (That's three sets of NiMH rechargeable Energizers and one charger. I've yet to go through all three sets of batteries on a single shoot -- or even in a single week.) Such a relief to be able to do that, after the complications of buying extra batteries for my other digital cameras. (Optio 550 and the late, slightly- lamented, Fujifilm FinePix 6900Z. At least the Optio goes through batteries slowly enough that one extra is OK. The Fuji was a bit of a problem in that regard.) ERNR
