The SMC 1000 f/8 came home to papa

Just wanted to let everyone know that it came yesterday.
The lens is in really good shape, especially the glass.
 I snapped some shots with it in the frontyard, some
with the wooden tripod it came with, and some with
a Bogen 3051 and a 501 fluid head. Going to the airport
(LAX) on Saturday morning to blow film. That wooden
tripod is a beast. I`m working on sand bags to throw
over it. I`m really surprised how bright it is @ f/8. I 
think the LX with adapter is going to be the camera
of choice, with the new SE-60 focus screen.
