OTOH, we are now seeing, it seems, a resurgence in B&W. Maybe I'm reading
it all wrong, but in my mind, the signs are there. New films have come
out, old ones seem to be ressurected and given a new push, some recent
articles have appeared in various places touting B&W. So, maybe there's
some hope yet. Or maybe I'm a dreamer.
I am pretty optimistic about B&W surviving, enough so that I just bought a whack of new (to me) equipment.
It survived colour film quite nicely as a niche market, hopefully, it will survive digital as well.
Colour neg film OTOH, doesn't stand a chance, and I am not holding out much hope for slide film either.
