Quite likely, but the digital sensors havent *really* changed a lot lately, have they?
The CCD technology is some 30 years old...
while film technology will not advance much, if at all. "In the foreseeable future," therefore, 35mm film production and sales will become a small niche, like that for 8inx10in sheet film is today.
