I've never seen more than one sun dog in one image! Very interesting!
I could of used a slightly wider lens than is on the 750. I was just able to get both.
Furthermore, I don't recall ever seeing any in person!
Consider yourself lucky. The conditions that allow them are pretty brutal.

Okay. I saw that -35 thermometer.
I was only ONCE in -33 weather. In eastern Iowa, early January, 1960. It froze up a brand new Volvo 122S.
I had no wish to look for sun dogs! <g>

The winter of -99 we had about -30 for about a month. Peaked one early morning at -43C
I live in Haparanda, Sweden. Right by the Finnish border. Find a map if you want to know where that is.

Okay, I just did! You are at 65.8 deg. north, which in the U.S. is a north latitude approximately level with Anchorage, AK, while the place in Iowa was at 42 degrees north, which in Europe is as far south as Lisbon! Quite a bit of difference!
That made 33 degrees below zero HERE a bit more unusual, I'd say! <g>
It's pretty up in your part of the country, however!
