Hi,
after spending some long hours these few days scanning and scanning
on the Nikon V ED, I just discovered that the damned thing
deposited some line of sh*t exactly in the middle of several
negatives (if not all) !?!! I would like to meet the engineer of
this scanner in person, we would have a long talk with the help of
sharp retouching pencils. My god, there is plenty of space
along the film BORDERS, but they had to put the rubber advance
wheel exactly in the MIDDLE of the film! And of course this wheel
does leave marks...
So anybody using these Nikon scaners, BEWARE!
I hope alcohol will get rid of it (the marks, not my angriness).
