I have a 1550, which has been around a bit and works really well. I recommend it as highly as possible. When I travel with it I use an Eagle Creek shoulder strap which I hook on to the Peli combination locks. Even loaded with equipment this is quite carryable for reasonable distances. http://www.eaglecreek.com/40197.html I don't take it as carry-on on planes. It goes through the checked luggage. I figure that with 2 tough 4-barrel combination locks, any baggage handler is not going to waste the time to try and open it all. Naturally though I keep a full working set of cameras and lenses in my hand-baggage, in case the bag goes to a different airport to me. It works as an effective personal safe when I get to my destination, and can lock it to something secure. I have the set of dividers, but I don't take them when I travel. I use the case as a suitcase, and let my clothing and other soft stuff act as padding. -- Cheers, Bob
