I do not see why choosing the D ? The *istD takes Compact Flash cards, and one can get hard disks in that format with more capacity than memory cards. However, they use more power, and are less shock-resistant. I have a D, simply because that came out first, and there doesn't seem to be any need to switch -- PDML means I get more e-mail than spam!
